Noel TD Chiu, M.D.
Noel TD Chiu is a board-certified dermatologist who grew up in the Bay Area. After graduating from high school, he spent the next twelve years in New England for education. Dr. Chiu received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Brown University. He then stayed in Providence, Rhode Island to obtain his Medical Degree from Brown University Medical School. He served as class president and co-authored the first population-based study on oral and nasal melanomas, which was published in a major scientific journal. After medical school, Dr. Chiu moved to Boston, Massachusetts for his medical internship at the Beth Israel Hospital of Harvard Medical School. He completed his specialty training at the Boston University School of Medicine and Tufts University School of Medicine combined Dermatology Residency Program. During his last year of residency, Dr. Chiu was selected by the combined medical faculties to be the Chief Resident and given responsibility for fourteen resident physicians. Noel Chiu is the co-author of the dermatology sections in the Merck Manual of Geriatrics, the leading reference book in the field of Geriatrics. He enjoys cooking and the great outdoors.
